Our Mission
Thodaska LTD is an organisation that provides vulnerable young people with high quality support to improve and sustain the quality of young people's lives through Solo Living supported accommodation. Our organisation is soon to be registered and regulated by Ofsted.
Thodaska Ltd aims to provide looked after young people with a safe and nurturing environment, one that promotes empowerment, independence and choice while equipping them with the means to enhance their core living skills. To enable service users to become as independent as possible and move across the final stages of the care continuum in such a way that their dignity and privacy are given the highest priority ensuring they are treated in a respectful manner always in their journey to fully transition in to independent living.

Achieving the key principles
To achieve these key principles, practice in our home is shaped around the following:

Safety and Security:
Implementation of robust safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our young person. Conducting regular risk assessments of the physical environment and take necessary measures to address any safety concerns.

Understanding and Effective Support:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of our young person's needs, strengths, and preferences.
Ensuring staff members receive training and ongoing professional development to enhance their understanding of our young person's background, experiences, and needs.

Voice and Advocacy:
Establishing a participatory approach where our young person's voice is actively listened to and respected.
Providing regular opportunities for our young person to express their opinions and influence decision-making processes.

Personal Space and Accommodation:
Providing an individualised bedroom or living space that offers privacy, comfort, and a sense of ownership for our young person.
Maintaining a clean, well-maintained, and stable accommodation environment that meets health and safety standards.
